Safer Internet Day 2025
P2/3 engaged with a range of internet safety day activities. We watched a video demonstrating how quickly and easily a scam can pop up on our videos and screens. A Scam is something that seems too good to be true, someone contacting you that you do not know, someone asking for personal information or for money. We took part in a quiz, answering questions about who we could go to if we need help with scams. Then, we read a story about someone going online and the class had to think about how the person in the story would feel. Each pupil was provided with copies of the emotion cards and as each part of the story was read out, they held up a card to show how they thought the main character would feel. We had lots of discussions about these feelings. Lastly, in groups, we discussed what private, personal information is and what might be okay to share online.
