Wellie Wednesday turned into Wellie Thursday this week as the weather was a bit of a wash out on Wednesday! We followed Mrs Noble up to the Thomas trail and tested our knowledge on setting the fire pit up, building our fire and remembering our safety tips ... the boys and girls have a fantastic memory so this was no problem for them! This time we were making toast. The children all found a long thin stick and they whittled a point on the tip of the stick, popped on some bread and toasted it over the fire. They all enjoyed eating the toast with some yummy butter afterwards.
