Today P2/3 enjoyed going to the Thomas Trail for some Activity Based learning. P2 developed their Forest School Skills by making their own Stickman from the Gruffalo's Child. Some P2's thought that the string looked like a "wooly" jumper for the stickman because it is Winter. P2 were tasked with going to find 2 suitable sticks. Then they each individually wrapped the string round the sticks to create their stickman. Meanwhile, P3 cooked up lots of yummy desserts and treats in the mud kitchen. They made Gruffalo Pie, Gruffalo Cake and some owl ice cream. P2/3 will be writing down some of their top secret recipes and their crafts as part of their instructional writing. P3 are very excited for when it is their turn to make a Stickman.
