It was a wet Wellie Wednesday but that didn’t put the boys and girls in P4/5 off our task this week. Spilt into groups of three and one group of four, the children took inspiration for their bridges from the fantastic bridge we have in our village. After a few problem-solving discussions, trial and error usage of the different materials available and some practice attempts, I’m pleased to announce all groups were able to all fit on their bridge, all bridges stayed intact AND most importantly all bridges actually had room underneath for water to pass through.
