In p2/3 we have been learning to recognise new 2D shapes such as hexagons, octagons and pentagons as well as being able to describe their properties. Some of the primary 3 pupils have been eager to know even more shapes such as a 7 sided (heptagon) or 10 sided shape (decagon). Have a look at all the fun things we have been doing. We have been making pictures with shapes, sorting 2D shapes into a Carroll diagram practically and through games as well as seeing shapes in real life around our playground on our 2D shape hunt!
